An Autoethnographic Performance
An Uneven Mind is a lived-experience and practice-based inquiry into uneven cognition, trauma, creativity, support, and theatre.
The presentation considers how a person’s capacities are shaped not only by individual characteristics, but also by environments, expectations, relationships, communication, materials, time, and support. It asks what may emerge when those conditions change—and what may remain unseen when they do not.
Drawing upon artistic practice and personal experience, the work resists tidy explanations. It invites attention to visible competence and invisible cost, to the ways people are sometimes understood incompletely, and to the conditions under which creativity and contribution become possible.

This public presentation may be useful to artists, theatre practitioners, educators, facilitators, students, organizational leaders, people with disabilities, and anyone interested in cognition, trauma, creativity, participation, or the design of human environments.
